CONFERENCE FACILITIES AND BOOKING CONDITIONS1. Provisional bookings are held for 7 days. Bookings that are not confirmed by you will be cancelled. 2. A booking is confirmed when the Architecture Centre receives:
3. The hired premises must be vacated promptly at the booking finish time unless previously arranged with a member of the Architecture Centre staff. Failure to do so will result in payment of an excess fee chargeable £15 per half hour. 4. Hire of the Conference Room does not permit use of the Gallery. The Gallery space is only available to clients who have hired it by special advance arrangement. This includes but is not limited to storage of session attendee property, deposit of catering crockery or foodstuffs and use of the space as a meeting area during booked event break times. 5. Damage to hired equipment will be subject to an appropriate charge. 6. Damage to hired premises will be subject to an appropriate charge. 7. The Architecture Centre cannot be held responsible for the damage, theft or loss of any property, goods or articles not belonging to the Centre.
PAYMENT TERMS 8. A non-refundable and non-transferable £50 deposit(s) per session is required to secure a booking. 9. An invoice will be sent following the meeting/event which will require settlement within 30 days of receipt. 10. VAT charges at 17.5% are applicable.
CANCELLATIONS 11. Cancellation of a booking within 5 days of the event/meeting will result in the full cost of room hire and any catering/refreshment ordered being charged.
CATERING 12. All catering and refreshments must be ordered through the Architecture Centre. 13. Catering requirements should be indicated on the booking form. 14. Amendments to the catering and refreshment orders cannot be made later than 3 days before the event/meeting.
15. The Architecture Centre reserves the right to cancel a booking or refuse a future booking request if these Terms and Conditions are not met or they are breached during the course of a booking.
