Design champions
The Architecture Centre offers support to elected members who act as design champions for their local or unitary authority, and to design champions from other sectors or client bodies, in particular to housing associations and housebuilders.
We work throughout the South West region in collaboration with the Architecture Centre for Devon and Cornwall and Creating Excellence offering training, visits and study tours, guidance on the role and sources of information.
Councillors in the key growth areas may also be interested in the Design Leadership programme developed with CABE and Creating Excellence.
