Cabe Education seminar at the Architecture CentreThe second part of the afternoon involved delegates in a practical planning exercise, which looked at the issues of bringing pupils out on field work visits to Bristol Harbourside. Elements such as pre trip preparation, resources, timing, health and safety considerations, citizenship/cross curricular links, support from other agencies and professionals were discussed. The outcomes from this session will feed into the development of a new resource to support Key Stage 4 teachers bringing their pupils down to the Bristol harbourside for curriculum visits.

‘A very valuable afternoon, scheduled at a very useful time in the year for me.’ Phillip Amor, Geography Teacher, QEH School
