This event follows on from the successful ‘Women in Construction’ day for local, female A-level students held at the Centre in October.

The day-long workshop, organised in partnership with Connexions, will introduce students to the range of career opportunities available in the Built Environment sector. It will include presentations from local female professionals, site visits around the Bristol Harbourside and a design competition which engages pupils in practical model-making activities.

The theme will be the redevelopment of an office building for a local charitable organisation, with an emphasis on sustainable design features.
