Eric Parry, founder and principal of Eric Parry Architects, who are known for elegant and sensitive architecture that skilfully deals with the urban fabric and the public realm, will speak about his recent work on The Holburne Museum in Bath.
In November 2009 the practice was announced as Richard Feilden Architect of the Year for a significant body of work, and as BD Office Architect of the Year for its recent commercial buildings including 5 Aldermanbury Square which was also nominated for the 2009 Stirling Prize. The practice has recently completed the complex restoration and renewal of St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square, a project that has received many accolades since its completion.
In addition to his work in practice Eric serves as an external examiner at various schools of architecture in the UK, while his teaching experience has included the universities of Cambridge, Harvard and Tokyo.
