MUF Collaborative design in green urban contexts
MUF Collaborative design in green urban contexts
Talk: 31 March 2009
Pioneering design studio muf creates public realm projects that integrate approaches to space and place through interdisciplinary art and architectural practice. In working closely with the cultural identity of a place and the individuals and communities that make it, muf aims to create projects that anticipate the future use of spaces.
Katherine Clarke, artist partner at muf, talks about the practice’s innovative work and the role design can play in linking communities and realising successful urban green spaces.
Collaborative design in green urban contexts is part of Spring Green 2009, The Architecture Centre’s annual programme of exhibitions and events that celebrate and showcase sustainable innovation in the built environment.
