Takeover Day with Room 13
Room 13 'takeover' the Architecture Centre
Open Studio: Friday 22 November, 12:00-14:00
The Children's Commissioner's Takeover Day is a national event which gives children and young people the chance to work with adults for the day and be involved in decision-making.
The Architecture Centre gallery will be takenover by young artists from Room 13 (based in Hareclive School in Hartcliffe) who will use the gallery as a studio to create works on the theme of 'Ambitious City'. The works will then form an exhibition in the gallery in the run up to Christmas.
The gallery will be open to visitors on Takeover Day between midday and 2pm for an opportunity to see the young artists at work.
Takeover Day will also give the opportunity for the Room 13 artists to find out more about what the Architecture Centre's aims and objectives and what happens on a day to day basis in the organisation.
