ARCHITECTURE WEEK

Friday 15 – Sunday 24 June

Now in its 11th year, Architecture Week gives us an opportunity to think about, celebrate and, most of all, to experience architecture. Architecture Week 2007 will be taking place from the 15 - 24 June, with events spanning a wide range of contemporary arts and culture, coming together in celebration of the built environment. One of this year's themes is How Green is our Space? focusing on critical issues of climate change and sustainability, and aiming to inspire us all to think creatively about the spaces around us.

Events in the region include film screenings, talks, walks, tours, building-visits, exhibitions, debates, children's activities, and the ever-popular RIBA Architect in the House.

The two regional Architecture Centres, based in Bristol and Cornwall are working with RIBA Wessex & Southwest to co-ordinate a programme of events and publicity to celebrate Architecture Week in the region.

Full details are on the website: www.architectureweek.org.uk and you can pick up a printed guide to events in our region from The Architecture Centre in Bristol.
