DOORS OPEN DAY 2006
Event: Saturday 9 September, 10.00 – 16.00
For the thirteenth successive year many of Bristol’s architectural
and historic buildings are opening their doors to the general
public in Bristol Doors Open Day.
See inside the recently completed City Academy (Feilden Clegg
Bradley), through to the 1930’s Concrete House (Charles
Ward of Connell Ward & Lucas); the late C19 Arts & Crafts
vernacular style St. Saviour’s House, and the 15th century
Elsie Briggs House, a remarkable survivor of a medieval hall-house,
and 63 more.
