One of the first practices to develop expertise in sustainable design, Feilden Clegg Bradley has received numerous awards for its work in this area including a Queen's Award for Sustainable Development and the Civic Trust's Sustainability Award.

In this talk Bill Gething, Feilden Clegg Bradley partner and the RIBA President's Adviser on Sustainability, reveals two exciting projects currently in development: Houndwood Housing, a new sustainable urban quarter in Street, Somerset, based around the Danish concept of ‘shared space’; and Brighton One Planet Living, a joint venture with eco-developers BioRegional Quintain, the first in a planned series of communities adhering to ‘One Planet’ principles including zero carbon and zero waste.
