THE
GENESIS PROJECT, TAUNTON

The Genesis Project, based at Somerset College of Arts &
Technology in Taunton, is a £2.5 million educational resource
funded by the South West of England Regional Development Agency
and the Learning and Skills Council. By exploring cutting-edge
thinking the Project aims to introduce the use of sustainable
practices and materials into the mainstream construction industry.
It will also provide a wide range of resources and learning opportunities
for architects and builders, as well as students and members of
the general public.
The Visit
Members of the Design Team responsible for the construction will
give a brief talk about the project, followed by a guided tour
of the centre during which there will be a Q&A session.
