MAKE MINE AN ECO-HOME

Day Course: Saturday 3 March, 10.00 – 17.00, £40 (lunch included)

This one-day course is designed to give you all the practical information you need to make your house a healthier and more planet-friendly place to live. The course examines the key principles of creating an eco-interior, from space planning to products and materials.

Specific topics include energy-efficient design, sustainable water use, minimising waste, natural paints, flooring and furniture. Course notes and supplier lists are included in the training package.

The two tutors are experts on sustainable design and products: Pam Macdonald from The Natural Company Decorating has been a decorator, designer and lecturer for 20 years; Kate Millbank works for eco-consultants BioRegional Development Group.
