WAITING TO GO

Artist's Talks: Wednesday 5 October and Thursday 10 November, 13.00 - 14.00, Free

Waiting to Go is an exhibition in which photographer Paul Bullivant examines a period of dramatic change and the sense of loss among the residents on a north Bristol housing estate as the time for demolition and redevelopment approached.

People saw homes and memories swept away as the original dwellings were demolished and functional new houses and flats replaced the old.

These images are also a record of the photographer’s encounters with places and people as he tried to capture the spirit of the neighbourhood.

Paul will be holding two artist's talks in the gallery at lunchtimes. Come along and find out more about the project and the artist. No booking required.

The exhibition runs from Tuesday 27 September – Sunday 13 November.
