ANOTHER PLACE

Exhibition: Tuesday 12 July – Sunday 7 August

‘Another Place’ is an exhibition of collaborative artworks. Artists Shani Ali and Paul Bradley have drawn worlds for children’s life drawings to inhabit. These worlds have been triggered into being by the fluency of line in the children’s drawing, current affairs headlines from newspapers picked up off the floor after a days painting in Room 13 Hareclive, and by the architectural environment of the Hartcliffe area.

The life drawings by children aged between 4 and 11 years were created during a project that included all the pupils attending Hareclive Primary School, Hartcliffe.

Shani and Paul have been commissioned by Creative Partnerships and Multi Arts to create artworks that are both a visual response to the children’s original drawings and a continuation and development of their own studio practice.
