THE BIG DRAWING!

As part of this years Architecture Week celebrations, the Architecture Centre, Bristol organised the Big Drawing event on the Bristol harbourside. Bristolians and visitors of all ages were invited to participate in a group drawing activity, which explored the local uniqueness of the Bristol harbourside.

Facilitated by local artist, Shani Ali, this event encouraged drawers to observe and engage with their local built environment. Unusual viewing tools such as spotty sunglasses and interesting drawing materials such as ink and feather quills, inspired even the most reluctant of drawers. All the drawings were collaged together to create a fascinating cityscape patchwork, which makes up this exhibition at the Centre.
