BUILDING
BRISTOL'S SCHOOLS FOR THE FUTURE
Exhibition: Tuesday 4 April – Sunday 30 April
Bristol is one of the pathfinder authorities for the flagship
national ‘Building Schools for the Future’ programme.
This initiative will see the launch of a new strategic partnership
in Bristol to deliver radical improvements in the quality of schools
and other education facilities in the city over a 10 year period.
The complete rebuilding of Brislington Enterprise College, Speedwell
Technology College, Whitefield Fishponds Community School and
Hartcliffe Engineering Community College will begin during 2006.
This exhibition shows a selection of plans for the proposed new
schools, whose design, construction and maintenance is being undertaken
by the Skanska consortium.
