Joanna’s silver and glass button jewellery is inspired
by a love of the familiar and the nearly new and the treasure
trove world of the charity shop.
“My button jewellery is a commemorative celebration transforming
unwanted and discarded buttons into objects of lasting desire
and value. Each item of jewellery is completely unique with no
two pieces the same. This is because I use discarded, found and
donated glass buttons, as a result full sets are a rare find”
