REDCLIFFE
FUTURES
Exhibition: Tuesday 9 September - Sunday 19 October
edcliffe: the historic quarter, famous for its church and the
Courage brewery, is one of the last pockets of Bristol awaiting
regeneration. To tie in with Urban Design Week (15-21 September)
- the theme of which is 'Who makes places?' - this exhibition
looks at how the Redcliffe Futures Group has risen to the challenge
of deciding a future for Redcliffe. The Group consists of 20 people,
bringing to the project skills and experience from practioners
in the area as well as businesses, Residents Associations, the
Council, the church, the schools and the Civic Society, and more.
Find out how they have re-written the concept of public consultation,
and are directly involved in making a real difference to the quality
of life of residents and the viability of local business.
