Green Day

HomeEducationTeaching resourcesGreen Day

Green Day is an initiative that helps to make schools sustainable. It will inspire pupils and colleagues in your school to learn about climate change and how it relates to the buildings and spaces around them.

The Green Day teachers’ activity kit is packed full of subject linked activity ideas to help teachers engage pupils in Key Stages 1-3. You can download it from the link on the right hand side.

Green Day was developed by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) and each year over 1000 schools across the country take part in Green Day activities to help make their schools more sustainable.

To find out more about Green Day visit the Engaging Places website.
