Studio in the Woods Main gallery: 7 July to 1 August
|
| The Studio in the Woods exhibition is now open, presenting inspiring images from the past four years of the project. Various wooden structures have already started to evolve and will be continually re-imagined by teams of professionals over the course of the exhibition.
Architects and students are asked to get in touch to participate in this exhibition. We are currently looking for volunteer invigilators to ensure the safety of the public as they view the structures. Please contact info@architecturecentre.co.uk to register your interest.

Jane Lock-Smith of Cube Design presented Rednock School and Jonathan Hines of Architype spoke about the multiple award winning St Luke's Primary School in Wolverhampton.
The talks are available through blip.tv and will also be linked through the archive pages of our events.
The Spring Green 2011 programme will be focussing on the theme of Sustainable Schools. Look out for further details over the coming months.

Spaceshaper: Regional Advocacy Event Tuesday 7 September 2010 9.30am - 1pm (including lunch and refreshments) |
| Spaceshaper helps engage local people, and/or young people, in the process of improving their local spaces - fostering a sense of ownership, tapping into local knowledge, and strengthening community links.
Spaceshaper, and the newly launched Spaceshaper 9-14 aimed at young people, are practical toolkits that not only measure the quality of a public space, but crucially, capture the views of those who use the space and manage the space in the process.
If you are involved in improving public spaces, large or small, urban, suburban or rural, whether playspaces, pocket parks, country parks, housing estates, streets, then come and find out how the Spaceshaper toolkit could help you...
This event provides a free taster session, demonstrating the potential of the toolkit.
Places are limited so if you would like to register your interest please email Vickie Whitehead on centre@architecturecentre.co.uk
