Kayo’s delicate polyester fibre and precious metal jewellery is inspired by organic objects in the environment:
‘By playing with materials, I seek to reflect what I see in the natural world around me: the elegance of layered petals; the delicate surface of leaves; lively buds and dried seed pods. I regard my jewellery as a small sculpture that is complete on its own, as well as on the wearer’s body’ Kayo Saito.
Kayo’s work has won her many prestigious awards from the jewellery world, including three Goldsmiths’ Company awards.
