Trustees
The Architecture Centre, based in Bristol, is seeking a number of new Trustees following retirements from the Board. Set up in 1996, the Centre exists to promote better design of buildings and places for all. We believe that by increasing public awareness we will help raise expectations and thereby the demand for better and more sustainable buildings and places. Our programme includes exhibition, events, lectures, visits and critical debate. Our learning programme helps to inspire young people and our outreach programme includes empowering communities to seek
the best environments.
We are seeking Trustees who have a strong interest in contemporary architecture and place making and we are looking to widen and diversify membership of the Board. Applications will be welcome from those with backgrounds in business, the development of creative programmes, audience development and fundraising as well as experienced architects and academics.
